‘Summer Blooms’, a pair of original paintings, will be winging their way off to their new home in Melbourne, Australia this week. It's a lovely feeling knowing a painting is heading on a journey so far from the studio, out into a whole new life.

This pair of paintings started as an exploration of summer evenings and tbh at peaceful calm that descends once the day is done. I love imagining it settling into its new spot on the other side of the world.
